This collection contains the annual reports of the School of Economics.
The School of Economics came into existence on 1 June 1956 when Professor David Rowan took up his role as the chair of Economics and head of school. When the Faculty of Commerce was officially approved on 11 March 1957, Economics was one of the faculty's first three schools. In 1988 the faculty was renamed the Faculty of Commerce & Economics.
In 2006 this faculty was disestablished and the School of Economics moved to the newly formed Faculty of Business, which was renamed the Australian School of Business in 2007 and then the UNSW Business School in 2014.
